Expert System Planning and CAD Drawings

Our process begins with a thorough consultation to understand your objectives — whether you’re renovating a single room or undertaking a large-scale development. From there, we create a fully engineered design complete with CAD drawings. These precise plans illustrate pipe layouts, manifold positions, flow paths, insulation zones and any integration with other heating systems. Having this level of detail enables a smoother installation, reduces on-site guesswork and ensures everything fits exactly as intended.

Tailored Design to Suit Your Needs

Once you receive the draft plans, we’ll walk you through them carefully. This gives us the opportunity to discuss which system options best suit your priorities — be it energy efficiency, zoned control, system capacity or compatibility with existing heating infrastructure. We can adjust flow rates, loop lengths, manifold sizing and control strategies to find the optimal balance of performance and cost.

Seamless Transition to Installation

With the design confirmed, the rest of the project becomes far more streamlined. Installers benefit from clear, precise documentation and visual guides. This reduces delays, clashes with other trades and costly changes on-site. Our approach ensures that what was imagined in the design stage becomes reality in the installation phase.

By combining expert consultation, detailed system planning and interactive design review, we aim to deliver underfloor heating systems that perform reliably, integrate smoothly and meet your specific requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is underfloor heating?

There are two types of underfloor heating. A ‘wet system’ that pumps warm water through piping under the floor or a ‘dry system’ of electric coils placed under the floor. Both systems take advantage of the basic principle that heat rises and warmth from under the floor is radiated into the room.

Can underfloor heating pipework leak?

An underfloor heating installation leak is highly unlikely. Any potential damage to an underfloor heating system normally occurs during the installation process, where the underfloor heating pipe gets accidentally cut or damaged. AM UFH use the toughest pe-rt al pe-rt pipe and test our systems before, during and after the installation. Only fully pressure-tested systems are commissioned. However, in the unlikely event that someone accidentally damages the pipe, for example by drilling through the floor, the damaged pipe can be repaired.

How does underfloor heating work?

When underfloor heating is installed in your property, a series of pipes or cables are laid beneath your flooring. These pipes or cables will cover the entirety of the floorspace and emit heat that will transfer up into your room and warm the area.
